I'm Chris rooks, I'm 29, I live in a small town in south central Kentucky called Columbia. I grew up on a farm that had a abundance amount of small game to offer an this is where the love for the outdoors all started. When I wasn't tagging along with my dad or uncles rabbit or squirrel hunting, I was shooting birds in the backyard, I couldn't get enough of hunting. Later as I grew older I picked up deer hunting an the love for it began. Gun season just wasn't long enough for me so I got into archery. I picked up turkey hunting a little later on an found that I loved the fast pace run and gun style of it. My turkey and deer hunting lead me into predator hunting, which soon became my biggest challenge an passion. The outdoors is my go to place, my therapy, my happy place. Getting to see gods beauty come to life as the sun peaks over the horizon isn't something you can explain to someone, it's something you have to experience. Hunting is much more than hunting to me, it's my way of life.
